'Naak Ka Kasoor'

Strictly for Himesh Reshammiya fans (Read Gastro Patients)

Fans of singer-composer Himesh Reshammiya, if any will be quite pleased with his debut film as an Actor – ‘Aap Ka Surroor: The Moviee: The Real Luv Story’.

The movie is directed by Himesh’s longtime friend Prashant Chaddha, who claims that he was forced to give Himmesh the lead role. Prashant adds, the movie is not based on Reshammiya’s life and that’s the only reason it did not go off the halls on the very first day. It is a fiction story, like Panchatantra that anyway answers some FAQs about the singer-musician.

In his acting debut, Himesh is too uptight before the camera.For the most part he wears a brooding look, as he his consciously aware that he can be a better cap seller than being an actor.

The emotions that he expresses in the film are those of sadness, pain, anguish, helplessness and anger. In fact it feels that Himesh is quite aware of the Box Office results even before the release.

‘Kap Ka kasoor’ tells the story of HR (Himesh), a rock star on a musical tour in Germany. He falls in love at first sight with Riaa (Hansika Motwani), the event manager of his concert.

On the other hand, there is Ruby (Mallika Sherawat), the partner of the organizer of the concert. Ruby is in love with HR, the only heroine to have agreed to play this derogatory role.
Though HR doesn’t reciprocate her feelings. He loves Riaa.

HR’s troubles apart from his dreaded acting, begins with the murder of a TV journalist.
Convinced of HR’s guilt, Riaa’s father (Sachin Khedekar) fixes her marriage with another man.

Now, HR has two options: To run away from police captivity or start Singing continuously in the prison so that police is forced to release him.

What did he do? Curious? By all means you don’t have to watch the entire movie for it.

‘Tere baap Ka Kasoor’ is based on a wafer thin plot, Chacha Chaudhry aur Saboo is still a better read. The film’s script and dialogues are very filmy.

For all those who still insist on going to theaters please please please carry your Walkmans, handheld video games or may be playing cards. It is best advised not to take infants to the theater. On the first day first show there were incidences of people jumping out of even the fire exits.

For all the contenders for the Indian idols, the film’s USP is its music. Songs like ‘Asalaam Valekum’, ‘Tera Mera Milna’, ‘Tanhainyan’ and ‘Mehbooba’ should never ever be sung in front of Anu Malik or Javed Akhtar.

If you are a Reshammiya fan, ‘Aap Ka Surroor’ is worth a watch. Though after the interval you may find people pulling one’s neighbors hair and even singing “Mera kya Kasoorrrrrrrr…… Ohhhhhhh Huzzzzzooooooorrrrrr”

UP village boy suddenly acquires American accent

LUCKNOW: A 14-year-old Dalit boy, born and brought up in a remote village of western Uttar Pradesh, has suddenly turned angrez. Rajesh, without any evident help, has started speaking fluently in English and does so with a proper American drawl, which even Americans are finding tough to decipher.

And that’s not all: He seems to have forgotten how to speak Hindi.

RapidEx Speaking Course Company was quick to pounce and acclaim the success of Rajesh to their “30 day Self Learning Course, else money return program”. Rajesh has apparently denied any involvement with the Company.

Wonders do not cease with this: His knowledge of physics and mathematics has left engineering students baffled, who more or less are baffled with their own lives. So it’s quite understood why he targeted the Engineering students.

Having already penned three books, the names of which Rajesh has denied to share with the media, Rajesh is now looking forward to some research work.

ISRO, which has been facing tremendous attrition rate this year, has promised a Senior Scientist Job to Rajesh also.

All of this may sound like a Bollywood script on one of its favourite themes, reincarnation. However, Rajesh, a resident of a nondescript village 40 km from Saharanpur, refuses to call it so. Though he claims that he has seen Sivaji 15 times till date.

In his words: "There is no concept of reincarnation. It is just that memory can’t be destroyed till there are sound waves in the world." This very statement has irked Google Chief in California who has spent his entire life in making memory storage more compact.

Rajesh’s mother Omkali( Name Changed) and 16-year-old brother Kaluwa( Orginal Name) are daily wage labourers.. His father Sompal is mentally-challenged. Asked how and when these changes came into Rajesh, Omkali said he has a Nike Poster room with “Just do it” quote on it.

The rest remains a mystery.
